Over the fourth I went with Natalynn's family to their cabin in Vernal. Much prettier than it sounds, it's actually just outside of Vernal in an area that has trees and mountains.

Star Wars Kid

AJ's posting of Tom Cruise killing Oprah reminded me of another bit of hilarious Star Wars special effect editing. I was lucky to download copies of these clips as the second is no longer available.

Here's the story. This kid made the first video of himself in his highschool TV studio. Not sure why. His 'friend' got ahold of it and put it on the web. It became a phenomenon and over a hundred edits were made of which the second clip is my favorite. Apparently the Star Wars Kid doesn't appreciate his new fame--the family has had to move several times--even though nearly 150,000 people signed an online petition to get Ghyslain (his actual name) put in Star Wars III as an extra.

Don't worry. This blog won't be filled solely with funny video clips like it used to be. There are a number of human iterest stories in the works.
