Primary

In December, Natalynn and I were called to be Valiant 9 teachers in the primary and church has never been more enjoyable. In a recent lesson we used a visual aid involving part of the class describing an unseen object to the rest. After the kids discovered it was a candle warmer we showed them some of the other objects we brought but thought might be too easy including a golf ball.

"Yeah, a golf ball would be too easy. All you'd have to say is you hit it with a stick," commented Mikayla.

"No," replied Gavin "if you just said you hit it with a stick it could be lots of things, like... animals...."

We were crying it was so funny. And the best part was, he couldn't come up with anything else besides animals.

Relief Society on time

Today the Relief Society got out on time! How is such a thing possible? This is how. I waited until Sunday School got out, then with ninja stealth and the slight-of-hand of a magician I set their clock ahead 6 minutes.

People are Crazy

The other day Natalynn and I went to see Pirates 2 at Jordan Commons--you know the megaplex with the huge theaters. The movie's been out for a while but still we were a little surprised when we walked in and there were only 7 other people. (A group of highschool kids on the very back row.) We settled in to a nice spot in the middle. As the previews started a middle aged couple entered the enourmous, empty theater. They sat exactly behind us and proceeded to talk lowdly and kick our seats as they fidgeted to get comfortable!

All we could figure was Candid Camera had to be there. We moved a couple rows closer.

Honeymoon

One of the things we did in San Francisco was go to Golden Gate Park and rent a row boat.

Being married's the greatest

The wedding went great and married life is the best. We honeymooned is San Francisco and it was the funnest trip ever. Thanks to everyone for the love and support. We haven't gotten our wedding photos back yet but here's a particularly cheesy shot that one of Natalynn's friends snapped. It looks like Old Navy is selling wedding gowns and tuxes.

Comic Strip Generator

Actually, more fun than it might sound. Make your own comic strip.

Here's my first attempt. It took me like, two seconds, so don't, ya know, think too much of it, if you don't like it... er whatever.

Update:
Natalynn's response to my first comic inspired this sequel.
